MY SWOT

All of us have our strengths and weaknesses, these are no secrets.
But the great secret lies in transforming weaknesses into strength, and transforming threats into opportunities.
On this picture, you see a group with sad children with a smiling child as an exception.
I am this child when I was 6 years old.
All of us who participated in this picture lived in the same village, had the same conditions, with we had different goals in life, different fantasies and different dreams.
My strength has always been my imagination as nowadays I call it my vision.
I then had a clear vision of the future that I want, while my friends seemed to have nothing.
The way I posed with my legs crossed and my arms behind my head say a thousand words.
I am filled with joy when I look at this picture today. Because then I saw the future with the eyes of faith. I believed in my vision of a better life waiting for me to face it. I saw myself walking in the streets of Paris, London and New York, though I had barely been outside the village limits.
I understand why I am who I am, and why I have always chosen my own ways. The inner strength that I had has transformed all threats into opportunities, and all the weaknesses into blessed artist's narrow brushes that are important for painting the small details of the big picture (the vision)

SWOT is a concept that we use in leadership. Its four letters cover strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
What is fascinating is that not every strength is positive, and not every weakness is negative. Everything depends on how, when and why we use our properties.
The vision we have for our life is the mirror that identifies our personal SWOT
Being aware of our own Swot enables us to choose what we want to do with it.
If we do not like a certain weakness, then we work on understanding ourselves why we are weak there, and how can we change it and turn this weakness into a strength.
Nothing trivial to anyone who has a will
When there is a will, there is a way.
I have found my way to joy and meaning in Life, what about you ?
